US$275 Antique Ansonia Porcelain Clock - Open Escapement in Middle Sackville, Nova Scotia for sale

You are viewing a beautiful Ansonia Porcelain Mantel Clock circa 1895. This is a true antique from the late 1800's. The clock is in working condition and keeping very good time week to week. There is an ansonia key that is most likley not the original key. The pendulum appears to be original. The bezel is heavy metal and the glass is perfect with no scratches or cracks. The glass door shuts firmly. The case shows beautiful pink and yellow flowers on a light blue background. Sharp gold pinstriping surrounds each partition. There appears to be a very fine hairline crack on the top of the piece never repaird though and a repair on the bottom left leg. The photos form part of the description here and they do not do the piece justice as it is striking. See Condition section for condition of item. The is a true Ansonia Quality piece displaying the Ansonia Logo on the 2 piece porcelain dial and the movement is also logo'd and has the patent date of June 8 1882. I am unsure what model this is other than it says #418 on the back of the case.
